We collect only what is needed to provide you with a safe, personalized experience:

• Account details: When you create an account, we store your email address and the name you choose to share.
• Conversations: Chat messages you exchange with Sentira are stored so you can revisit them and continue threads across sessions.
• Journal entries: Any reflective writing you save in your private journal is stored for your personal use.
• Mood check-ins: Mood logs and optional notes you submit are stored to help you track patterns over time.
• Device and session info: We collect basic technical data such as your device type, app version, and browser language to improve performance and compatibility. We do not use cookies or fingerprinting.

Guest chats (without an account) are stored only in your browser's local memory and are not sent to our servers.

Your data is used solely to power your own Sentira experience:

• Restoring and continuing your past conversations.
• Displaying your mood history and journal timeline.
• Helping the AI remember relevant context within a chat thread.
• Improving app stability and fixing bugs through anonymized error reports.

We do not sell your data, show advertisements, or share your conversations with third parties for marketing or profiling.

All data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

• Encryption in transit: All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Row-Level Security (RLS): Your data is protected at the database level so only you can access your own conversations, journals, and mood logs.
• No plaintext storage: Passwords and sensitive authentication tokens are never stored in readable form.
• Regular backups: Data is backed up to protect against accidental loss.

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run Sentira:

• Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Data resides in secure cloud infrastructure protected by Row-Level Security.
• Lovable AI Gateway — powers the AI responses in chat. Messages are sent to this service for generating replies. Conversations are processed in real time and are not used to train public models.
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method. If you choose "Continue with Google," Google shares your email and profile name with us according to their own privacy policy.

We do not use third-party analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or social-media pixels.

You have full control over your data:

• Access and export: You can view all your conversations, journal entries, and mood logs at any time from within the app.
• Deletion: You can clear individual conversations, delete journal entries, and remove mood logs directly in the app.
• Account deletion: You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing us. We will process your request within 30 days.
• Withdraw consent: You can stop using the service or delete your account at any time.
